A Pair of Coalport Art Deco Style figures, ‘Dance at Dawn’ and ‘Ring of Hope’, designed by Carl Payne. Each depicts a stylized, nude female figure in a dynamic pose, rendered in patinated metal, likely bronze or spelter with a bronze finish, exhibiting a warm brown patina. Each figure gracefully interacts with an arching element, possibly representing draped fabric. The ‘Ring of Hope’ figure also engages with a spherical object. Both statuettes are mounted on multi-tiered, geometric plinths crafted from dark, variegated marble or alabaster.
