Lot 35: A Vintage Brass Barrel Spigot or Tap

A vintage brass barrel spigot or tap, featuring a T-shaped handle at the top. The robust body has a threaded connection point on the underside and an elongated spout that is ribbed or fluted, ending with a series of small holes, suggesting it is designed to filter or aerate. Visible markings include “THE MA CO” (possibly “THE MASCO”) impressed on the main body, and partially legible text on the handle that appears to include “PAT” (likely “Patented”) and “FEB” followed by numbers.
