A pair of vintage hand planes, likely from the mid-20th century. The first is a Rapier 200 bench plane, featuring a red-painted cast iron body with a bright metal lever cap stamped “RAPIER,” and “MADE IN ENGLAND” and “RAPIER 200” cast into its base. This plane has a black front knob and a black rear handle, likely wood or bakelite, and a brass adjustment wheel. The second is a smoothing plane with a black-painted cast iron body, a polished steel sole, and a dark brown wooden front knob and rear handle. Both planes appear to be complete.
