A Sheffield sterling silver ingot pendant necklace, dated 1977. The rectangular ingot-style pendant is attached to a curb-link chain, secured by a lobster clasp. The front surface of the pendant is stamped with four distinct hallmarks: the crowned emblem of the Sheffield assay office, the lion passant indicating sterling silver, the date letter ‘C’ for 1977, and the sovereign’s profile head duty mark. The sides of the pendant are adorned with an engraved scroll pattern.
