An antique sterling silver and enamel portrait cigarette case. This rectangular hinged case features a vibrant royal blue guilloché enamel lid with a radiating sunburst pattern, centrally adorned with a light blue relief portrait of a woman in profile. The portrait depicts a high coiffure and period dress evocative of the late 18th to early 19th century. The silver exterior is elaborately decorated with scrolling foliate and floral motifs. The interior reveals a gold-toned metal finish, a small mirror inside the lid, and internal compartments. The inscription ‘AU VOYAGE. PARIS.’ (For Travel, Paris) is visible on the interior rim of the lid.
