Lot 50: Vintage Sterling Silver Charlie Chaplin 'The Tramp' Pillbox or Snuff Box

A small, round, lidded box, crafted from sterling silver, likely functioning as a pillbox or snuff box. The lid features a black and white portrait of Charlie Chaplin in his iconic “The Tramp” persona, complete with a bowler hat and mustache, indicative of an early 20th-century vintage style. The portrait appears to be an inlay, possibly under a clear protective layer. The interior base of the box is clearly stamped with the word “STERLING, ” confirming its material as sterling silver.
