Lot 38: Wedgwood Blue Jasperware and Sterling Silver Pill Box
A Wedgwood Blue Jasperware and Sterling Silver hexagonal lidded pill box. The lid is inset with a circular dark blue ceramic plaque, featuring a white Neoclassical relief depicting a robed figure holding a lyre, standing next to a burning brazier or altar. An indistinct stamped mark, consistent with a hallmark, is visible inside the bottom half of the box, confirming the sterling silver composition.
