A Bell’s porcelain decanter, manufactured by Wade, commemorating the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer on 29th July 1981. This bell-shaped item features a white glazed ceramic or porcelain body with extensive gold-colored details and a cream-colored stopper. The front is adorned with a colorful depiction of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer within a heart-shaped cartouche, surrounded by heraldic motifs including a crown, lion, and unicorn. Inscriptions clearly state “CHARLES & LADY DIANA SPENCER, ” “TO COMMEMORATE THEIR MARRIAGE, ” and the specific date “29th JULY 1981.” This item is typical of late 20th-century commemorative ware.
