General Sale - 1st September 2025
A collection of predominantly silver-toned metalware, likely silverplate, alongside some brass or gilded items. The assortment includes two- and three-light candelabras, various flatware (spoons, forks, a knife), creamers or sugar bowls, a sugar sifter, and several decorative containers. Noteworthy items include a fish-shaped serving dish with a sticker clearly reading “WMF-IKORA” and care instructions in German: “EDELMETALL,” “NICHT MIT AGGRESSIVEN MITTELN REINIGEN” (Do not clean with aggressive agents), and “NICHT IN DER SPÜLMASCHINE REINIGEN” (Do not clean in the dishwasher). Also present is an ornate rectangular tin identified by a label as a “MUSIC BOX WITH ASSORTED GINGERBREAD FROM NURNBERG” (German: “LEBKUCHEN-TRUHE MIT VERSCHIEDENEM LEBKUCHEN AUS NÜRNBERG”), complete with a barcode and net weight, indicating a relatively modern item. The collection displays varied styles, some suggesting a Victorian or early 20th-century aesthetic, while others appear more contemporary.
