A set of four antique French style silver-toned cups, dating to the early 20th century (circa 1900-1940). Each cylindrical, tapering cup is crafted from a silver-toned alloy and features intricate, deeply engraved or chased decoration encompassing the upper two-thirds of the body. The decoration includes detailed bands of scrolling foliate and geometric motifs, suggestive of an Eastern European, Middle Eastern, or Central Asian aesthetic, a style often associated with French silverwork of the period. The lower third of each cup is plain and undecorated. No discernible hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible.
