Lot 193: An English Art Deco Oak Cased Aneroid Barometer and Thermometer

A wall-mounted weather station comprising an upper thermometer and a lower square-dial aneroid barometer, set within a carved, dark-stained wooden case, likely oak, suggestive of an Art Deco style. The thermometer displays “FAHRENHEIT” and “CENTIGRADE” scales. The barometer indicates “RAIN,” “Stormy,” “Changeable,” “FAIR,” and “Very Dry,” with pressure readings from 26 to 31, and is marked “MADE IN ENGLAND.”
