A contemporary hardwood bar or counter stool, featuring a simple, utilitarian four-legged frame of medium-stained hardwood. The square seat is tightly woven in a checkerboard pattern using flat green and off-white/natural-colored synthetic straps. Small brown corner caps, possibly leather or faux-leather, are securely affixed where the seat meets the frame. The design suggests a mid-to-late 20th-century or contemporary origin.
