A cased set of six sterling silver decorative spoons, each featuring a classic bowl form, a slender stem with subtle fluting, and a distinctive spherical, textured finial resembling a golf ball. Visible hallmarks on the reverse of one spoon bowl include the maker’s mark ‘S.C&Co’, an anchor symbol for the Birmingham assay office, a lion passant indicating sterling silver, and a date letter ‘E’ alongside an indistinct duty mark, collectively suggesting a late 19th or early 20th-century British origin. The spoons are presented in a rectangular black faux-leather presentation box featuring gold-toned clasps and trim, lined with black velvet and an off-white pleated satin lid.
