A Late 20th Century Chinese Royal Satsuma style porcelain decorative bowl, featuring an ornate and vibrant polychrome decoration. The exterior and interior are extensively adorned with flowing, dark and light blue floral and foliate motifs, highlighted by elaborate gold gilding and numerous small red and white raised dots against a white ground. The decorative style combines elements reminiscent of traditional Chinese porcelain with a rich, Art Nouveau-like embellishment. The underside bears an underglaze blue mark, which includes a rectangular image of “THE GREAT WALL” above the text “MADE IN CHINA,” along with additional, smaller blue symbols or characters.
