A Margarete Steiff Replica 1902 Teddy Bear, a 1983 reproduction. The bear is presented in its original clear plastic display box with a red interior. This light grey/off-white plush teddy bear features dark eyes, a stitched black nose and mouth, and beige-colored paw pads. Visible text on the box includes “MARGARETE STEIFF GIENGEN-BRENZ” and “Erste Filzspielwaren-Fabrik Deutschlands” (First Felt Toy Factory of Germany). A silver plaque inside the box reads “1. Teddybär-Modell 1902 Design Richard Steiff” (1st Teddy Bear Model 1902 Design Richard Steiff). A small gold-colored button with the “Steiff” logo is attached to the bear’s left ear, accompanied by a fabric tag marked “Steiff KNOPF IM OHR” (Button in Ear) and the number “0150/032”. A small, framed black and white photograph of a man is also visible within the packaging.
