A Roman comb, crafted from ferrous metal. This archaic-style piece features seven widely spaced, robust tines extending from a horizontal bar. To the left, a ‘C’-shaped loop is present, ornamented with rectangular indentations along its outer rim. The upper right portion of the comb terminates in a zoomorphic design, appearing to be an animal head in profile, possibly a boar or similar creature. No discernible text or explicit maker’s marks are visible.
