A five-piece Japanese Kutani Ware Geisha Girl tea set, likely porcelain, decorated in a traditional Japanese-inspired style with extensive polychrome enamels and gilt accents. The set consists of a decorative plate, a lidded sugar bowl, a lidded ginger jar or tea caddy, a creamer, and a teapot with a natural cane-wrapped handle. Decorative motifs include detailed scenes of figures in traditional dress, cherry blossoms, diverse floral patterns, mountainous landscapes (including a depiction resembling Mount Fuji), and a mythological phoenix-like bird. A prominent burnt orange-red color, often embellished with gilt, is used on rims, handles, spouts, and lids. Red character markings are visible on the side of the ginger jar.
