This lot comprises four round, silver-colored metallic coins, likely silver or a silver alloy, from the British period.
One coin, dated 1876, depicts a young Queen Victoria and is identified as “ONE SHILLING.” It bears the Latin inscription “VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR REG F D” (Victoria, by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith).
A second coin, dated 1836, depicts King William IV and is inscribed “GULIELMUS IIII DEI GRATIA” (William IV, by the Grace of God), featuring a crowned lion on its reverse.
A third coin, dated 1891, also depicts Queen Victoria and is marked “SIX PENCE” on the reverse.
The fourth coin depicts Queen Victoria with the inscription “VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITANNIARUM REGINA” (Victoria, by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains).
