A collection of historical metal fragments and discs, possibly coins or weights, presented in a light-colored wooden box with brass-toned clasps. The box features a white satin-like lining in the lid and a heavily worn, dirty blue velvet-like lining in the base. The contents predominantly comprise numerous patinated copper-alloy objects, including circular discs (some pierced, possibly coins, tokens, or weights), various metal fragments, hooks, and pointed elements. Also present are several small, rounded, lighter-colored objects, possibly ceramic or stone. One disc is clearly marked “LECITHIN PHOSPHATE.” The overall collection suggests advanced age and potential excavation.
