A DRAWCO Featherweight Steamer Trunk, of rectangular form, featuring a brown canvas or coated fabric exterior reinforced by seven dark metal straps and corner protectors. The trunk is secured by a central front latch and two side latches with keyholes (keys absent), and includes recessed side handles. The interior is lined with a beige and brown plaid patterned paper or fabric. Visible markings inside include a blue label stating, “This DRAWCO TRUNK IS FITTED WITH BRITISH ALL STEEL HOOPS PAT. No. 416131”, a handwritten address label for “MRS E. FEATHERSTONE,” and an invoice or letterhead from “W. ECKELLS LTD., Sailmakers, Riggers & Upholsterers” of Wroxham, Norfolk, dated “3rd. July 1964.M.”, addressed to “A. Featherstone, Esq.”
