A Moorcroft ‘Anna Lily’ limited edition plate, designed by Nicola Slaney, dated 1999. This glazed ceramic decorative plate or shallow charger features a vibrant, stylized floral design reminiscent of Arts & Crafts or Art Nouveau aesthetics, with prominent tube-lining. The central field displays the year ‘1999’ surrounded by five large, lily-like flowers in shades of orange, red, and yellow, amidst green foliage, all set against a cream background and framed by a wide, textured dark blue rim. The reverse bears the printed ‘MOORCROFT’, ‘POTTER TO H.M. THE QUEEN’, and ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ marks, along with an impressed Moorcroft mark. Handwritten details in red include ‘704 / 750’ indicating a limited edition, ‘© 98’, and the initials ‘WM’, while ‘MRJ’ is handwritten in blue.
