The reverse displays a crowned, quartered shield representing the Royal Arms, encircled by a wreath and the inscription “BRITANNIARUM REG FID: DEF:” (Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith), with the denomination “ONE SHILLING” visible below the shield. The coin is likely silver or a silver-toned alloy.
