A vintage Librasco balance scale, featuring a robust dark green painted cast iron frame. The scale is equipped with two polished brass pans, one designed for commodities and the other for a set of brass imperial weights. The seven weights are clearly marked as ‘1LB’, ‘8OZ’, ‘4OZ’, ‘2OZ’, ‘1OZ’, ‘1/2OZ’, and ‘1/4OZ’. A distinctive “Librasco” brand decal, accompanied by a serpent-like graphic, is affixed to the central support of the cast iron base.
