General Auction including Gold, Silver & Cars ( ONLY 14% COMMISSION )
A collection of five to six bound volumes, accompanied by a smaller black-bound book explicitly labeled “Autographs.” The larger volumes feature embossed covers, appearing to be leather or faux leather, consistent with early to mid-20th-century styles. Inside, numerous handwritten entries in English are present on various colored and discolored paper pages. Entries include signatures, personal wishes such as “Good wishes, ” and dates primarily from the mid-1950s (e.g., “July ’57,” “1952,” “1954”). A short poem, “Saturday night is my delight And so is Sunday Morning Sunday night comes far too soon And so does MONDAY Morning, ” is present. One page also contains a sepia-toned photographic print, possibly depicting an architectural structure, with “RYLAND ARMS” visibly printed on its reverse.
