This lot comprises two ceramic jugs. The first is a figurative Tawny Owl jug by Quail Ceramics, crafted from glazed earthenware with detailed naturalistic brown and cream feathering. Its base features a black manufacturer’s mark, stylized as ‘Quali’ with a distinctive ‘Q’ graphic, alongside a partial retail sticker indicating ‘WY OWL’. The second item is a light blue ceramic jug by Wedgwood of Etruria Barlaston, styled in a Neoclassical or Georgian revival manner, adorned with white applied relief decoration of classical foliage. This jug’s base is clearly stamped ‘MADE IN ENGLAND WEDGWOOD OF ETRURIA BARLASTON EMBOSSED QUEENS WARE’.
