The item features a dark, likely cast iron, rectangular base with four curved feet and sides adorned with ornate cut-out scrollwork and quatrefoil designs. Three parallel, turned brass rods are positioned above the base, each terminating in matching finials. The central brass rod is distinguished by intricate engraved banding.
