A pair of Royal Mail commemorative coin and stamp covers. The first cover, numbered 12742 and dated 2008, commemorates “THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE £1 COIN AND THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COUNTRY DEFINITIVES.” It features six uncirculated one-pound coins with various national (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, England) and heraldic designs, alongside a block of eight Queen Elizabeth II postage stamps with various denominations and a 2008 London postmark. The second cover, numbered 21011 and dated 2006, is dedicated to “Her Majesty The Queen’s Eightieth Birthday.” It includes a single commemorative base metal coin inscribed “VIVAT REGINA 1926 2006” depicting trumpets and a royal cypher, all presented within a folder featuring photographic images of the Queen. Both sets are presented in their original card folders and are composed of paper, cardboard, and base metal coins.
