General Sale - 1st September 2025
A collection of glazed ceramic tableware by Keele St. Pottery Co. Ltd., in the ‘Cottage Ware’ style. Each item is fashioned as a thatched-roof English cottage, featuring hand-painted details of windows, doors, and climbing foliage in tones of yellow, brown, and green. The assemblage includes a large lidded biscuit jar with a woven-textured handle, a teapot, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, a set of three small cottage-shaped cruets on a matching rectangular tray, and at least six cups with coordinating saucers. Visible manufacturer’s markings on the bases include a circular stamp reading “KEELE ST. POTTERY CO. LTD ENGLAND Handpainted,” along with an impressed “KSP.”
