An early 20th-century Dietz Monarch Fitzall kerosene lantern. This black-painted metal and clear glass oil lantern features a standard bail handle, a fuel fount, and a removable glass globe. The glass globe prominently displays a raised circular manufacturer’s mark, with discernible text reading “DIETZ” on the upper arc and “N.Y. U.S.A.” on the lower arc. The metal components are likely steel or cast iron.
