An Antique Solid Silver Hat Pin Cushion Stand, featuring a small, hinged pincushion box design. The domed lid is covered in a dark fabric, likely velvet or a similar plush material. The base is crafted from a silver-colored metal, exhibiting a polished finish. The interior of both the lid and the box is lined with a lighter fabric, possibly silk or satin, framed by a contrasting blue fabric and a decorative gold-colored cord trim. Indistinct hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the exterior of the metal base. The overall style suggests a late 19th or early 20th century period.
