A set of six Royal Hampshire ‘Cries of London’ silver plated pewter figurines, sculpted by P. Hardy. This collection depicts various character types suggesting a street or community scene, including a man playing a violin, a chef holding a bell and a tray, a figure interacting with a mailbox or oven, a boy holding a wrapped gift, a man holding a lamp post, and a separate standing lamp post. Each figurine is mounted on a textured round or oval base designed to resemble paving or wood. The underside of one base features a black felt covering with gold printed text reading ‘Royal Hampshire’ beneath a crown emblem, followed by ‘Sculpted by P. Hardy’.
