General Sale - 1st September 2025
A cased set of eight Victorian sterling silver teaspoons by Walker & Hall, hallmarked London 1882. Each spoon features a twisted stem culminating in an ornate finial, with one particularly prominent finial depicting a bearded figure, suggestive of a Santa Claus or character design. The hallmarks on the reverse of the bowls include the London assay mark (crowned leopard’s head), lion passant, a Queen Victoria duty mark, and the date letter ‘G’, confirming the 1882 production date. The spoons are housed in a fitted, dark-cased presentation box with a green velvet interior.
